Description: 

Reporting Line

  • Reports to: Head of Finance (currently the Interim role held by the Finance Controller ANZ)
  • Dotted Line Oversight: Accountant (ANZ), AP Associate (ANZ)
  • Liaises with: Global Capability Centre (GCC) Shared Services Team, including Record to Report (RTR), Order to Cash (OTC), and Procure to Pay (PTP) functions based in India

Ownership

  • Manage rebates lifecycle: creation, annual rollover, settlement, and monthly reporting.
    • Experience with SAP HANA CCM rebate module is highly advantageous.
  • Prepare and maintain regular cash flow forecasts across ANZ entities + Coordinate FX requirements with global treasury and ensure timely execution.
  • Own the general ledger and ensure accuracy and integrity across all accounts.

Operational Excellence

  • Deliver accurate month-end close by Work Day 4.
  • Review, validate, and post journal entries prepared by GCC.
  • Manage monthly accruals and prepayment schedules.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Monitor overdue customer balances and report on collection status.
  • Provide operational support and oversight to the AP Associate.

 

Compliance & Audit

  • Review and support preparation of GST and FBT submissions.
  • Prepare workings and gather documentation for quarterly limited reviews and annual audits.
  • Perform regular reviews of general ledger accounts to ensure compliance with local GAAP and IFRS.

Other requirements that will be essential for the Fixed term Contract Role are as follows:

• SAP Proficient

• CA/CPA or Finance Qualification/Experience

• 5+ Year experience in similar role/s

• IFRS/GAAP Experience and Technical Knowledge

• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

• Rebate Reconciliations and Rebates in SAP Module Experience

• Proven experience in finance management and sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals.

Other General Responsibilities and Duties

• Overseeing the statutory year-end process, including dealing with auditors and external advisors.

• Year End Pack Preparation for sign off on the 15th April 2026

• Review of all major balance sheet reconciliations, with some BS reconciliations to be performed

• Rebate Reconciliations with Review, Settlement and Creation in SAP Rebate Module

• Treasury and Banking Management and Administration, including FEC and Hedging Contracts

• Management and Review of Shared Service

• Cash Flow and WC Forecasting

• Manage FX risk through FEC Contracts

• Preparing financial reports.

• Reviewing the company's financial statements to ensure they are accurate

• Capturing and reviewing financial transactions in SAP.

• Streamlining accounting functions and operations.

Coordinating audit processes, liaising with external and internal auditors

• Monitoring and implementing internal controls and standard operating procedures

• Drive accurate Cash Flow and Working Capital Forecasts to manage liquidity.
