Purpose of the Role

Is responsible for the conduction of Field Crops & forages trials in Western UP & Northern MP.

Position: Territory Research Trial Manager - TRIALING

Location: Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh).

Reporting: India Research Trialling Lead – FC & FR

Qualifications: BSc Agri/ MSc Agri

Experience:  3 to 8 years in Trialling/product development/TD

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the in research trailing team in the R&D department of organization as a Territory Research Trial Manager- FC & FR. Working as part of a trialling team, he will be responsible to conduct different types of trials ranging from L1 to L4 of Field crops & forages in Western Uttar Pradesh & Northen MP Region.

• Execute the planned trials timely in assigned territory within the allocated budget.
• Conduct the trials throughout the year (Summer, Kharif and Rabi) across region of Field crops & forages.
• Conduct the given trials in commercial area and have good knowledge of experimental designs (RBD, RCBD, Latic sq, augmented etc.), local agronomical practices and commercial checks.
• Ensure timely sowing as per the layout. Searching and finalization of lease land where more land is required and having trials of lower levels.
• Managing the labors, farmers locally for good quality trials management, on-site expense management and to maintain expense record file
• Maintain high quality trials and data collection as per the SOPs.
• Manage the trials within the budget. Regular review of budget expense and timely submission of trial bills.
• Data compilation in given format, checking errors and timely submission.
• Conduction of crop tours and show case the performing hybrids to other stake holders (Breeding, TD & commercial team) for L4 trials at all locations at right stage and in productive manner.
• Data observation as per the crop wise guidelines given.
• Data compilation and timely submission.
• Support on PAM.
• Manage the down line off role team, hiring and training to them as per requirement.
• Use to for extensive multilocation travelling.
