Reporting to: Sales Manager

Travelling: >80% of time

Scope: Hungary (Heves, Jász-Nagyku- Szolnok counties)


Purpose for the role

Deliver monthly and quarterly commercial results in the respective region of Hungary as assigned by a manager and local leadership. Actively participate in the growth of market share of UPL in Hungary.


Key responsibilities

  • Manage sales budget for a respective region to achieve set targets.
  • Implement annual country sales strategy and contribute to overall sales results.
  • Build, develop and maintain individual relationships with clients in assigned region, identify their needs, act as technical advisor if necessary.
  • Gather the information about specific regional market conditions and use them to achieve best sales results. 
  • Analyse clients’ needs and manage expectations. 
  • Develop and achieve agreed region sales plan in accordance with expense budget. 
  • Cooperate with other Sales Representatives and Commercial Manager, as well as Marketing & Regulatory teams.
  • Monitor market situation.
  • Acting according to Code of Conduct and other corporate procedures on global, regional and local level.
  • Promote company mission and corporate values among Staff members and external stakeholders. 



  • Plant Protection Engineer (Plant Doctor) degree
  • 3-5 years of work experience in agrochemical business
  • Living in the respective territory
  • Fluent in Hungarian language
  • Intermediate level of English
  • Autonomy in day-to-day activities and good communication skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Customer-orientated approach
  • Excellent team player
  • Driving license (B category)
  • Ability to work in MS Office environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
