About NPP:
NPP biosolutions is one of UPL’s fastest growing segments. We have seven dedicated NPP R&D centers where we are at the forefront of discovering and testing new biological solutions. These state-of-the-art facilities are backed by our extensive network of OpenAg R&D laboratories and our expansive field station network around the world. Our cutting-edge manufacturing, which includes 10 sites dedicated to biosolutions, ensures the highest standards of safety, quality and reliability, while our local in-field experts are available to ensure farmers understand what each product does and how to use it. Job Purpose:
This is an individual contributor role which works through influence.
1. Establish the Portfolio of Natural Plant Protection (NPP) Limited Globally with Regions or with the Portfolio Category team needing a startup mindset, multitasking & multifunctional approach. Work closely with functional teams at the NPP Platform.
2. Establish, maintain and monitor systems and processes of NPP Limited to ensure smooth operations and adequate control. Drive and monitor the development & performance of the portfolio of products from the platform.
Job Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Work closely with the Director, to devise strategy, manage and drive business growth for NPP Limited.
- Planning budgets, annual operations & corporate development for NPP Limited.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams i.e., R&D, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Region and Country Marketing, Sales, IP, Finance, Field development, etc. to manage the portfolio of NPP India
- Drive New product launches by working with NPP Global portfolio leads and country teams.
- Develop sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue from new & existing products.
- Integration of people, processes, culture and systems with the larger ecosystem.
- Key account management including B2B customers and channel partners.
Project Management:
- Manage all R&D projects for NPP India. Facilitate project development by mapping existing workflows and identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies & implementing strong review system.
- Identify and target key markets (countries/regions) to drive product adoption. Achieve optimal product market fit by strong collaboration with R&D and Global Marketing teams
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: MBA in marketing (preferably) from tier 1 or tier 2 B-School with bachelor’s in agriculture-Allied, Biotechnology, Biological sciences.
Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience in Agri and allied sectors
- Knowledge of BioSolutions products viz, biofertilizers, nutrition, bio stimulants, biopesticides, and crop protection products like fungicides, insecticides (preferred).
