Job Summary:

 

  • To design, implement, and oversee trade marketing strategies and promotional campaigns to drive sales growth, enhance brand visibility, and build strong relationships with key trade partners.
  • This role will ensure seamless alignment with the company’s overall business goals and lead the team in delivering impactful trade initiatives.

 

JOb Responsibilities:

 

  1. Execution of Marketing Plans
    • Translate national strategic marketing roadmap into actionable field-level campaigns.
    • Plan and execute farmer meetings, demo plots, dealer days, field trials, and exhibitions.
    • Ensure activation of ProNutiva solutions and integrated crop programs in key crops (sugarcane, rice, durian, corn, fruits).
    • Implement digital engagement (WhatsApp groups, Line, Facebook campaigns, agri apps) for farmer reach.

 

  1. Liquidation & Market Penetration
    • Drive liquidation of inventory at distributor/dealer/farmer level in line with sales targets.
    • Monitor sell-out and secondary sales to ensure strong demand pull.
    • Execute schemes, loyalty programs, and promotional campaigns for dealers & retailers.
    • Track competitor campaigns and recommend quick tactical responses.

 

  1. Team Management & Capability Building
    • Lead, coach, and inspire the field marketing team (regional marketing officers, crop specialists).
    • Build execution discipline – daily/weekly activity tracking, KPIs, reporting.
    • Train field teams and sales staff on product knowledge, positioning, and farmer engagement.
    • Foster a culture of “One Team One Focus”, collaboration, and accountability.

 

  1. Performance Tracking & Reporting
    • Track ROI of field activities – cost vs. liquidation vs. adoption.
    • Provide feedback to strategic marketing on farmer insights, crop trends, and program performance.
    • Maintain dashboards for activation, coverage, and farmer reach.
    • Regularly report progress to Country Head & Strategic Marketing.

 

  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with sales team to ensure alignment between marketing activities and revenue targets.
    • Collaborate with regulatory, supply chain, and technical teams for smooth execution.
    • Act as bridge between strategy and field reality.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILL:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in trade marketing, campaign management, or similar roles, ideally within [industry/sector]. • Proven expertise in creating and executing trade marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with fluent proficiency in English.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Hands-on experience with budget management and cost optimization.
  • Proficient in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis platforms.
  • Ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and work effectively in a dynamic environment
