Job Summary:

 

To provide leadership in sales organization to achieve the organizational objectives to grow domestic sales and market share whilst maintaining high company profile in the market place. To actively participate in the management of business as a key member of the Senior Management Team to ensure the overall company objectives are achieved consistently. 

 

JOb Responsibilities:


1. Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement 5-year strategic marketing roadmap for Thailand aligned with global and APAC strategies.
• Conduct market and competitor intelligence, including product lifecycle, patent status, portfolio gaps, pricing benchmarks, and farmer trends.
• Lead portfolio prioritization across crop segments (sugarcane, rice, durian, corn, fruits, vegetables).
• Shape go-to-market (GTM) models, optimizing B2B, B2C, and JV/dealer partnerships (e.g., with Sotus, Pacific Seeds, Baka, SunSweet).

2. Brand & Customer Leadership

• Strengthen UPL brand positioning in Thailand, reinforcing One Team One Focus culture and UPL’s OpenAg identity.
• Develop and execute campaigns (dealer meetings, farmer days, trade events, digital marketing) to build strong customer pull.
• Champion customer insights and farmer segmentation, ensuring solutions are tailored to Thai grower realities.
• Manage Country Club dealer loyalty program and customer experience initiatives.

3. Innovation & Pipeline Development

• Partner with global/regional teams to launch new molecules, NPP, bio-solutions, and digital platforms in Thailand.
• Drive ProNutiva integrated solutions for sustainable farming systems.
• Explore precision agriculture, robotics, AI/ML pest identification, and digital partnerships to future-proof the business.

4. Commercial Enablement

• Develop pricing, product positioning, and value communication strategies to maximize margins.
• Build business cases for new launches, ensuring ROIC > WACC.
• Support sales team with training, toolkits, and market activation materials.

5. Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Country Head and Sales Leaders to ensure strong execution.
• Collaborate with Global/Regional Strategic Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent organisation and computer skills (MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)." 10+ years in marketing management
  • Experience in crop protection business is a must
  • Ability to execute complex, quantitative analysis and develop creative brand and marketing strategies
  • Ability to influence at all levels and work cross-functionally to drive major initiatives and decisions
  • Collaborative and strategic thinking mindset
  • English fluency
  • Flexible, able to travel frequently
  • Can work as a team player
