Responsibilities

 

 

UPL is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for leading and managing end-to-end Supply Chain Management (SCM), Logistics, and Procurement functions within a GCC setup at Columbia. Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the center, leading teams, and driving improvements in processes and service delivery. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Leadership:

  • Develop and implement global procurement strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Lead Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes including vendor selection, onboarding, contract negotiation, and compliance.
  • Establish vendor management policies, SOPs, and control frameworks.
  • Monitor supplier performance and manage risk mitigation strategies.
  • Drive cost savings and value creation through strategic sourcing and supplier partnerships.

Logistics & Supply Chain Operations:

  • Oversee logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Optimize supply chain networks for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.
  • Implement global logistics standards and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, and commercial teams to ensure seamless supply chain execution.

Compliance and Regulatory:

  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant local laws and regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Staying up to date on changes to regulations and policies.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Liaising with headquarters or regional management.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Communicating effectively with all relevant parties.

Strategic Planning:

  • Contributing to the development of strategic plans for the Columbia location.
  • Implementing and executing strategic initiatives.

Experience:

Qualifications:

   
  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience of handling Service Delivery
  • Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese and English

Any Graduate or master’s degree or professional certification in Finance or Accounting.
