Job Summary: The Business HR Intern will provide valuable support to the UPL NAM Human Resources Team in carrying out the day-to-day HR activities of an organization. This includes assisting with HR compliance management , maintaining employee files, employee engagement, communications, talent management, benchmarking, and assisting with the execution of bonus plans.
JOb Responsibilities:

Learns the operations aspects of the facility and how HR supports the business operations.

Performs process analysis for current HR processes and procedures. Suggests potential alternatives to improve efficiency and timeliness.

Assist with Talent Mangement action planning including finding ways to attract, develop and retain employees.

Assist with organizational design benchmarking including comparing UPL NA’s practices, polices, and programs to industry standards and best practices and providing recommendations.

Work with the Commercial HR Business Partner to rollout the Sales Incentive Plan to employees in North America.

Assists in updating company databases by inputting new employee contact information and employment details and maintaining current employee files.

Responding to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits and other HR-related matters.

Assist with other tasks & projects as assigned by manager.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
-
Enrolled in a university or college program at junior or senior level, preferred course of study to include Psychology, Human Resources, Communications, or related

Must be comfortable taking direction, working independently, and managing multiple projects.

Must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Proficient Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required.

Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Must be detail oriented.
Location: This position will work on-site at our Research Triangle Park, NC location.
