Job Summary:

Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will demonstrate strong financial aptitude, excellent business intuition, and the capability to work at multiple levels, including high level strategy and day-to-day financial details. The successful candidate must effectively partner with all stakeholders and drive & deliver finance objectives set by the business.

 

JOb Responsibilities:

  • Financial: Assume all facets of financial role for the North American entity, combining domestic and export activities. Responsible for budgeting/reporting, fixed assets, inventory & cost accounting, A/R & credit, treasury
  • Strategic:  Contribute to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers.
  • Auditory:  Responsible for timely Moth-End Closing, quarterly and annual audits.
  • Tax Analysis: Responsible for reporting federal and state corporate taxes and well as Sates Sales and Use tax.
  • Administrative: Direct and guide accounting team.  Ensure, price sheets are up to date; A/R and A/P aging reports are in compliance with corporate guidelines, approve time off and conduct performance reviews.
  • Process Improvement: Identify ways to improve customer service activities and develop and implement standard operating procedures
  • Collaboration and Cooperation: Ability to work through various situations to achieve desired results by interfacing with co-workers, supervisors, and customers, and vendors. Actively listens and communicates respectfully and effectively. Willingness to follow direction from superiors. 

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited college/university and 5+ years of relevant experience in similar business partner-oriented roles, focused on Management accounting / Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft applications, SAP
  • Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, self-starter, ability to manage projects
  • Manufacturing Experience
  • Ability manage and meet tight deadlines

 PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • 5+ years' experience in manufacturing
  • Ability to multi-task and to manage both in short-term and longer-term projects
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Location:  Monrovia CA

Salary: $105,000 - $ 115,000
