Location: Home office located in Saskatchewan
Job Description
· 80 % sales experience –participate in sales calls, maintain and grow customer relationships
· 15 % field-scale product demonstrations- support growers in trying new UPL products
· 5% professional development – attend learning events such as Ag In Motion, Crop Diagnostic School, Diversification Centre Field Tours, etc.

Objectives:
· Develop customer relationship skills by working with and observing interactions between Territory Sales Manager (TSM), retail customers and grower customers.
· Gain experience with regional crops and UPL Canada product portfolio.
· Obtain experience with project presentation skills and working in a team environment.
· Positive summer experience to enhance future skills as a qualified candidate for full-time employment with UPL.
Required Qualifications:
· Currently pursuing an Agriculture related Bachelor's degree or Agriculture diploma from an accredited program – Agri-Business or Agronomy major preferred
· Entrepreneurial mindset- must be able to work independently from a home office
· Completion of at least two years of post-secondary preferred
· Skilled in computer use (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook)
· Valid driver's license and excellent driving record
· Superior work ethic and highly motivated
· Leadership and interpersonal skills/experience desired
· Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make decisions independently
· Written and oral communication skills
· Excellent customer service skills
· Agriculture/agronomy background and basic knowledge of farming practices
Job Duties:
· Join TSM on sales calls with key retailers and farm customers.
· Work independently to assist TSM in their territories.
· Build interpersonal and communication skills while working closely with TSM and customers.
· Assist in the management of field scale demonstrations where product data is collected, analyzed, and summarized.
· Contribute to UPL Canada social media content.
