Role Summary
The Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of operators to ensure efficient and safe production processes within the chemical manufacturing plant. This role requires effective communication, problem-solving abilities, and operational knowledge to meet production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Role Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations within the designated area of the plant, ensuring production goals and quality standards are achieved on time and in full.
- Train, mentor, and support team members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Monitor team performance, providing feedback and conducting performance evaluations.
- Coordinate workflows, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize efficiency.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for solutions.
- Participate in stock counts, reconcile Raw Material stock during stock takes.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
Technical Requirements:
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or relevant field.
- 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership role within the chemical industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with safety and quality assurance protocols.
