JOB Summary:  Leads the execution, publication, and fulfillment of promotional programs for the US business. Guides annual process for accrual creation and tracking, and program development. Leads and develops a team. Ensures tight communication, coordination, and alignment with program stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Sales, and Finance).

 

REQUIRED EXPERTISE: 

  • Strong financial acumen, capable project management, and excellent people leadership.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities to accomplish goals within required timeframes.
  • Knowledge of chemical channel promotional practices, specific knowledge of UPL approaches is a bonus
  • Detail orientation – to ensure financial analysis is correct, program documents are complete and actionable, and reconciliation is accurate.
  • Excellent financial modeling, written communication, and presentation skills.

Pricing & Program Management

  • Supports development of the annual market and customer programs for US Ag, CAN, and ES.
  • Manages program and pricing documents and required approvals for relevant segments and ensures proper approval and documentation of customized offers.
  • Ensures timely launch and communication of price lists and the annual marketing programs to the commercial teams.
  • Tracks effectiveness of marketing programs and other pricing initiatives and provides input into product pricing/profitability and market strategies for current and future products across all relevant customer and market segments.
  • In conjunction with Finance, prepares and reviews internal accruals and rebates with marketing team members and finance.
  • Leads fulfillment team to ensure complete, accurate, and timely fulfillment in the US and CAN.

Accrual Process & Management:

  • Guides annual process for accrual planning through template creation and review.
  • Tracks accruals throughout the year as sales develop and programs evolve. Shares tracking information with stakeholders and flags important developments.
  • Ensures Finance is aware and aligned to program execution and changes.
