R&D PMO Project Systems Manager

Reporting to the Global Head of R&D PMO, the position will initially manage the set-up & global launch of a new R&D project and portfolio management system, including alignment with existing processes and tools. Thereafter the role will be focused on assuring data and information availability to support reporting requirements. Key tasks would include building reports, designing interfaces, linking systems, supporting what/if scenarios, collect new business requirements from internal customer feedback, support ongoing data reporting improvements, enable tracking of key financial and project performance data and organizational training (key point of contact for support and troubleshooting). 


Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience specifically supporting R&D data and information management, including experience with launch and roll out of a project management system such as Planisware, Clarizen or similar as listed in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Project and Portfolio Management software
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university in a Scientific field, Finance, Data-Management or similar
  • Project Management Experience in Agrochemical, Agriculture or Life Science industries
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • Experience with design on work processes
  • Understanding of a phase/stage gate process
  • Ability to work in the United States on an on-going basis without company sponsorship


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited college/university in Project Management, Accounting or Finance, Scientific Field
  • Solid background and experiences with project management terms and practices; including financial controlling of R&D projects in the Life Science or Agrochemical industry
  • Experience with Smartsheet, MS Project, Wrike or other collaborative task and milestone tools
  • Experience with SAP
  • Ability to speak multiple languages (Global role)
