Responsible for leading and managing a specific center / Finance function at Columbia. Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the center, leading teams, and driving improvements in processes and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance Operations Management:
• Overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
• Managing resources (personnel, equipment, budget) effectively
• Monitoring performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement
• Accountable to provide overall leadership and supervision to the PTP, OTC, and RTR teams regarding Finance management, and financial reporting
• Add value through positive impact on P&L and balance sheets at UPL level.
• Accountable for the design & implementation of standard global processes, polices and controls to ensure process performance meets or exceeds SLAs
• To work closely with support functions including Payroll, Accounting and finance, Tax, and Treasury
• Accountable to work hand in hand with Finance Operations vertically and help in determining financial outcome by collecting operational Data / Reports, whilst conducting Analysis and Reconciling transactions
• Accountable for the team to perform monthly closing activities including month end accruals, managing employee relations and addressing any issues that arise
Financial Management:
• Managing budgets and controlling expenses.
• Monitoring revenue and profitability.
• Identifying opportunities to increase revenue and reduce costs.
Compliance and Regulatory:
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant local laws and regulations.
• Maintaining accurate records and reports.
• Staying up to date on changes to regulations and policies.
Stakeholder Management:
• Liaising with headquarters or regional management.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
• Communicating effectively with all relevant parties.
Strategic Planning:
• Contributing to the development of strategic plans for the Columbia location.
• Implementing and executing strategic initiatives.
• Monitoring progress and adjusting as needed.
Experience:
Minimum 10+ year’s experience of handling Service Delivery
• Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese and English
Qualifications:
Any Graduate or master’s degree or professional certification in Finance or Accounting.
