PURPOSE OF ROLE
Analysis demand of label for West and central Africa (W&CA), anticipate creation and modification artwork W&CA, works in collaboration with R&D, Supply Chain and Marketing team
Label Coordinator’s responsibilities include:
Financial:
- Ensuring label for customer orders are captured timely in order to ensure that product availability is planned for when required and realize sales in expecte periods
- Accurate sales order capturing with label in the system in order to avoid errors that can cause loss due to supply of wring product
- Follow up with the supplying plants to ensure labels are available within the required timelines so as to avoid order cancellations for no labels on hand
- Assure that all labels are received on time for all forecast in the system, time horizon 6 months
- Management printed block for all orders
- Minimize the complaints and quality issue for wrong label used in production
Customer
- Assure delivery on time of all artworks and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Understand internal and external customers’ needs on the artwork and work with the Supply Chain from supply countries to service the customer needs
- Attend to customer inquiries on their artwork and respond to them timely
- Communication with the supply teams from the source plants to get information
- regarding label availability and update accordingly
- Handle customer complaints for labelling and work with supply and commercial teams to get resolution
- Proactively confirm label vailidity where customer's approval is needed
- Works with internal Customer R&D, Marketing, SC for label approval process
- Prepare labels online with the specification of our tender
Process/operation
- Ensure product availability is planned without any issue on the labels
- Active follow up to ensure products are available as scheduled
- Ensure valid label and artworks are in place for the orders being processed
- Review and ensure accurate information for labels have been received and posted in SO parameters
- Coordinate for new labels creations within stipulated timelines
- Provide update on the order status for all labels and escalate where there are challenges in availed from the supplying entity and shared with customer timely
- Need to work with Adobe illustrator and KAROMI for some modification of the artworks
- Work closely with all local supply chain for anticipation of demand for labels
Individual/team
- Support and offer solutions that guide customers meet their requirements (Think of out of box solutions to customer needs internal and external)
- Monitor execution of agreed objectives to provide label on time
- Proactively identify initatives that will lead to easier ways of working and continuous improvement
Profile: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic design with a minimum 2 years handling customer; experience in Artwork management, graphic design
- Bilingual (English and french)
