JOB SUMMARY:
The Federal Regulatory Intern will support UPL’s Federal Managers’ efforts to ensure label consistency, compliance, and alignment with corporate rebranding initiatives. This internship provides hands-on experience in federal regulatory processes, product registration, and cross-functional collaboration with design and state registration teams.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
- Assist in reviewing product labels to ensure consistency and alignment with UPL’s branding strategy.
- Prepare and submit label notifications to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
- Coordinate with artwork design team for review of labels.
- Collaborate with the State Regulatory Team to ensure timely submission of compliant label.
- Track progress and maintain documentation for label updates and regulatory submissions.
- Support the Federal Registration Manager in ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement projects within North America Regulatory team.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Regulatory Affairs, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Agriculture, or Biological Sciences related field graduating later than August 2026
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Interest in regulatory processes and agricultural product compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with regulatory databases is a plus.
- Note, this internship is office based at UPL’s OpenAg Center in RTP, Durham with expectation of 5 days in office. Requests for hybrid model of 4 days in office & 1 day from home will be considered on case basis but is not guaranteed.
