Responsibilities
The Nort American Sales Manager defines the sales strategy in agreement with his/her superiors, implements, coordinates and controls it in order to maintain and develop the customer/product portfolio in the area.
Zone management and sales promotion
- Implement sales policy and sales development actions in order to achieve assigned objectives for the zone
- Ensure the animation of the distribution network and of the company's strategic accounts, through frequent follow-up and steering meetings with our partners, as well as business trips in the area.
- Participate in negotiations for new listings or new contracts.
- Promote products and their correct use to customers in the geographical area (distributors and specifiers) through field visits.
- Organize and lead professional communication initiatives (meetings, training courses)
- Act as an external representative for strategic customers and opinion leaders: take part in trade shows and conferences, maintain a network of influencers.
- Coordinate the organization of business resources with the Sales, Technical and Marketing departments
- Identify new business opportunities that are relevant both in terms of targets and new actions to be
- Monitor orders and invoices, respect credit limits for each customer and take into account the logistical, commercial and financial risks associated with each transaction.
Sales reporting and analysis: Tracking results
- Complete and record activity reports in internal tools
- Monitor and analyze sales results using BI and other available tools
- Ensure quantified business reporting
- Draw up the territory's sales action plan in discussion with management and ensure its implementation.
General responsibilities Quality
- Receive basic training on the standards to be applied (if necessary) in relation to your workstation: Good Practices (GMP, BPD and BPPV) and animal nutrition;
- Familiarize yourself with the quality system procedures in place in relation to your duties
- Work according to appropriate and safe methods, both for personal safety and to ensure product quality;
- Apply and respect the content of procedures ;
- Report deviations/complaints as soon as possible;
- Open a PV file if a PV case is received within 5 days and send it immediately topv@vetopharma.com ;
- Record raw data quickly and accurately and take responsibility for their quality and integrity;
- Inform of changes in process practices in order to update procedures;
- Ensure the safety and proper preservation of the items entrusted to it;
- Index items for quick retrieval ;
- Open a change control form for any changes to be reported (change/addition of distributor, stop sale, ...);
- Maintain all archive management documents.
Other responsibilities
- Organize feedback from the field to cross-functional departments in order to identify market trends, competition and the company's positioning in the area.
- Coordinate and lead the sales force and the organization of resources for its activity with Sales Administration and the Technical Manager.
