JOB SUMMARY: The US Marketing Manager, BioControl is responsible for annual profit, loss and strategy development of assigned BioControl portfolio. Interface with multiple functions within the organization including sales, key account managers, supply chain, finance, development, regulatory, and global marketing. Provide marketing direction and support to the sales team in support of achieving set product goals.



  • BS or BA degree required with a preferred focus in Agricultural Science or Business.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in the Agricultural BioSolutions, Biocontrol/Biologics or related Agriculture Industry. Previous marketing or sales experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently as part of a cross functional team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present clear, concise data to individuals and in a group setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to maintain internal and external relationships.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, word processing, spreadsheet create/formula creation, presentations, and analytics and trending software.




Portfolio Coordination:

  • Develop and implement annual business and marketing plan including volume targets, pricing and positioning for assigned portfolio.
  • In conjunction with marketing, sales and finance teams, support the development of annual market programs to drive demand creation
  • On-going support of sales; active interaction with sales organization
  • Oversee and direct advertising, communications and public relations activities to support marketing plans.
  • Coordinate product supply; update forecasts for assigned products on a monthly basis



Strategic Planning:

  • Create and manage 5-year strategic plan for portfolio to achieve sales and profit targets.
  • Conduct competitive analyses and market research to identify market opportunities.
  • Develop and recommend product pricing/profitability and positioning strategies for future products across all relevant customer and market segments.
  • Manage approved projects within current project management system



New Business Development:

  • Define market expansion opportunities with existing products and potential new product concepts, and work with your Project Team to define priorities and build business cases.
  • Negotiate and maintain agreements with third parties
  • Interface with global marketing and development managers
