Job Summary:

  • Responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with UPL Key Customers, which are critical accounts in the agricultural sector.
  • The KAM will ensure that these key customers receive tailored solutions and superior service to maximize their satisfaction and loyalty, driving business growth and achieving sales targets.

 

 

 

JOb Responsibilities:

  1. Account Management:
    1. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key Customers.
    2. Act as the primary point of contact for all matters relating to these accounts.
    3. Understand customer needs and develop strategies to meet those needs effectively.
  2. Sales & Business Development:
    1. Drive sales growth year on year by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
    2. Collaborate with the sales team to align strategies and ensure consistency in customer management.
  3. Customer Engagement:
    1. Conduct regular meetings with Customers to discuss their needs, challenges, and feedback. - Provide customers with timely updates on products, promotions, and industry trends.
    2. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.

 

  1. Strategic Planning:
    1. Work closely with internal teams (e.g., product development, supply chain, marketing) to align resources and deliver on customer expectations.
  2. Market Analysis:
    1. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify potential threats and opportunities.
    2. Provide insights and recommendations to the management team based on market analysis.
  3. Reporting & Documentation:
    1. Prepare Contracts , regular reports on account status, sales performance, and market insights.
    2. Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions.
  4. Compliance & Risk Management:
    1. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
    2. Identify and mitigate risks associated with managing key accounts.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree with Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in key account management, sales, or business development, preferably in the agriculture sector.
  • Strong understanding of agricultural products, services, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in key account management or a similar role, with a track record of successful account management in the agriculture sector.
  • Experience in managing high-value customer accounts and driving sales growth.
  • Other: Willingness to travel as needed.

Location: as per assigned by UPL Vietnam
