Job Title: Shift Incharge – ETP

Department: Utilities / Environment
Reports To: ETP Manager / Plant Head

Role Purpose:

To ensure smooth operation, compliance, and maintenance of the Effluent Treatment Plant during the assigned shift, adhering to environmental standards and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate ETP processes (primary, secondary, tertiary treatment) as per SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with Pollution Control Board norms and Factory Act provisions.
• Maintain shift logs, operational parameters, and chemical consumption records.
• Coordinate with maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Supervise shift manpower and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Conduct routine checks for pumps, blowers, clarifiers, and other ETP equipment.
• Report deviations and take corrective actions promptly.
• Assist in audits and statutory inspections.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:  B.Tech in Chemical / Environmental Engineering.
• Experience: 2–5 years in ETP operations in a manufacturing setup.
• Skills:
  • Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and environmental regulations.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to lead a team and manage shift operations.
