Plant Head - Liquid Packing

Area of responsibility:


1.    Productivity & System:


  • Coordination with production planner to freeze individual section micro plan & need to freeze the same
  • Manpower planning according to the production day wise micro plan, coordination with HR for any change or other issue
  • To ensure working of all line as per defined operational control and run process as per log sheet, standard operation procedure (SOP) and work instruction (WI) and record data in log sheet. Daily checking of log sheet
  • Coordination for RM & PM availability with RM &PM purchase & planner for the production plan which mainly focused on plan up till next 7 days & for the month in some case
  • Ensure measurement of production matrix & to work on action plan to improve the same (OEE, C Vs A, First commit accuracy, etc.)
  • Need to coordinate with process for any new product development & other non-routine requirement
  • To drive production KPI
  • To maintain SAP Hygiene & analysis of yield & other posting.
  • To ensure reconciliation after each order/campaign


2.    Quality:


  • To make aware team about quality policy and quality objective.
  • Ensure CAPA submission for any online, FG & external observation withing decided timeline
  • To Drive quality circle system to implement different improvement task
  • To ensure measuring & improvement in all quality matrix (FGPR, Rinsed index, etc.)
  • To ensure ISO documentation as per requirement
  • To ensure other quality critical documentation process, cleaning process
  • To ensure closure of all finding of internal & external audit
  • To ensure implementation of CAPA action point
  • To ensure FMEA for new product introduction
  • To ensure MOC being filled for any quality related change


3.    Safety:


  • To communicate any near miss or incident (minor or Major) to Department head & EHS followed by formal investigation
  • To ensure safety talk in each shift in their respective department
  • To ensure adherence of permit system
  • To ensure Safety system in place (toolbox talk, PPE adherence, machine guarding, proper lighting, work place hygiene, etc.)
  • To ensure safest workplace and safety in each and every operation of plant.
  • To ensure HIRA for each plant with detail activity distribution
  • To ensure MOC being filled for any safety related change


4.    WCM:


  • To drive 5S in their respective department, also need to ensure standardization in place (Internal audit, external audit, etc.).
  • To drive Leak free campaign & to achieve RPN no less than 50
  • Autonomous maintenance practices implementation
  • Implementation of Kaizen & poka-yoke & to meet the organization target
  • TQM implementation in department
  • To provide essential resource to the subordinate to drive WCM culture effectively.
