Area of responsibility:


1.    Productivity:


  • Supervise and execute daily production activity as per planning and as per instruction of shift in charge/plant in charge.
  • To ensure working in line as per defined operational control and run process as per log sheet, standard operation procedure (SOP) and work instruction (WI) and record data in log sheet.
  • To be maintain process parameter manually or by using PLC system.
  • To take RM and PM stock and inform to shift in charge/plant in charge for reservation of RM and PM.
  • To minimize change over time, perform decontamination of equipment as per procedure.
  • To control and reduce wastage during performing operation activities.
  • Handover the charge of shift to the next shift supervisor/officer, communicate plant status to plant shift in charge/plant in charge at every shift end and production figure communication to plant in charge in order to ensure smooth operations with optimum efficiency.


2.    Quality:


  • To awareness of quality policy and quality objective.
  • To be done online FG inspection.
  • To collect QC result from Lab, inform QC person for FG sampling and arrange labour during sampling.
  • To participate in RCA & its implementation as and when required.
  • To ensure best quality products are produced without any batch failure.
  • To follow ISO documentation as per requirement


3.    Safety:


  • To communicate issue of unsafe condition or unsafe act of received material to plant in charge.
  • To report about malfunctioning devices to plant in charge.
  • To report near misses.
  • To conduct safety talk in shifts.
  • Issue cold work, electrical log out tag out whenever required.
  • Make available PPE’S to operator and contract labour and ensure uses, also insure PPE’S inspection.
  • To ensure safest workplace and safety in each operation of plant.




4.    WCM:


  • To ensure effective housekeeping and safe work environment in surrounding area.
  • To ensure best housekeeping as per standards of 5s.
  • To maintain 5s in respective area and unwanted material move to the 5s red tag area and done entry in 5s red tag area register.
  • To identify source of leakage or spillage and done entry in leakage/spillage register.
  • Collect spilled material and take action for mitigation.
  • Inform maintenance department for resolving the cause of leakage/spillage and take trial whether the issue is addressed.
  • Autonomous maintenance practices implementation
  • Implementation of Kaizen & pokayoke.
  • All the documentation related to WCM need to be follow
  • To be check availability of housekeeping tools, housekeeping stand and maintain daily.


5.    Manpower Management:


  • To manage manpower and ensure efficient work from them.
  • On job training to be provided to casuals/labours.
  • Toolbox talk to be conducted on shift bases
