JOB Summary:  Responsible for the research and analysis of market information and other areas of interest to the company to allow the company to gain competitive advantage. Support Marketing, Sales, Supply and R&D planning with marketing insights. Maintain and develop regional competitive market database. Collaborate to perform data and process analyses required. Synthesize data from different sources, bringing the analysis into action plan. Conduct regular competitive research; includes researching best practices and conducting gap analyses. Identify business and regional growth opportunities, industry trends, demographic data and workforce information using data business intelligence tools and analytics. Pricing negotiation and contract negotiation with vendors within the allocated budget. Procures and manages acquisition of market research reports and databases within assigned Budget. Designs market research proposals to address specific business needs.



  • College degree in Data Analytics and Data Science will be preferred.
  • Master’s in business / Economics. With preferred focus Data Science, Data Analytics and Data Mining.
  • MBA is a plus.
  • Must have minimum of 8-10 years data analysis experience.
  • Working history Chemical or related Agricultural Industry preferred. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills required including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software and analytics and trending software (Qlik Sense/OLP e.g Tableau).
  • SAP SD and CO-PA modules and BI knowledge recommended
  • Experience in AI and Machine Learning is a plus



Consolidate and communicates relevant market and competitor information to review market position, trends, determine threats and identify market opportunities. Identify business intelligence needs and develops reporting to disseminate information across the organization in a timely and actionable matter


20%  Leads strategic design and maintenance of business intelligence application and ensures their use to enhances business decision making capabilities. Provide insights by understanding business needs and comparing to trends in data


20%    Monitor fields of interest to the company, such as technology in the political and legal frameworks. Design and deploy dashboards, analytical reports and metrics tailored to track trends and justify future business initiatives. Provide excellent customer service in assisting business with market research inquiries to grow their business.


10%   Oversees trends in the macroeconomic environment and financial services sector affecting NAM business. Support potential acquisition initiatives with data and insight.


20%    Design market research proposal for the specific business needs at regional / country level
