Junior Formulator 1st Shift

JOB SUMMARY: This position reports directly to the Formulator and Shift Supervisor. When necessary, the Jr Formulator will cover the roles and responsibilities of the Formulator should the Formulator not be able to do so for any reason. The Jr Formulator may also be required to complete or assist with other duties as assigned by management.

 

JOB RESPOSIBILITIES:

  • Blend various chemicals per production recipe to meet the demands of production
  • Read and accurately follow the formulation recipe
  • Report any potential production or quality issues to the shift supervisor immediately
  • Adjust batches as directed by lab personnel or the shift supervisor
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions in the formulation and packaging areas when needed
  • Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area
  • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and complies with EHSQ requirements
  • Assist in formulation and packaging areas as directed by the shift supervisor when necessary
  • Must adhere to all policies and procedures of UPL, NA

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Highschool diploma or GED certificate required
  • Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
  • Meet all physical requirements of the position
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team while having a strong focus on safety
  • Good math skills and a mechanical aptitude required
