Job Summary 

The Warehouse Specialist is a cross-functional team member responsible for performing a variety of warehouse duties, including receiving, stocking, order picking, and inventory auditing

Job Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect inbound shipments for accuracy and damage
  • Stock inventory into correct locations using scanners 
  • Pick customer orders accurately and stage for shipping
  • Perform routine cycle counts and support physical inventory audits
  • Identify inventory discrepancies, root causes of inventory variances, and opportunities for process enhancement
  • Maintain inventory accountability, material condition integrity, and documentation accuracy
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers and internal stakeholders (procurement, logistics, customer service etc.) at the bonded warehouse 
  • Communicate and collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure policies and procedures are followed and completed
  • Support Kingstree manufacturing and/or logistics activites especially during peak season 

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum high school diploma or GED 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in warehouse enviroment 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating powered industrial trucks 
  • Working knowledge of SAP for inventory management 
  • Proficient in Microsoft software suites (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic work environment by shifiting between different priorities, adjusting work schedule and/or working overtime as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor's degree 
  • 5+ years of experience working in warehouse enviroment 
  • 3+ hands-on experience of SAP for inventory management
