Key responsibilities - Lead FP&A – India

 

  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for India crop protection business in collaboration with business finance and marketing teams
  • Lead preparation and presentation of various MIS for leadership and business teams
  • Analytical review of business performance in comparison with budget and previous year by business, geography, product portfolio etc. and sharing actionable insights, driving margin and mix improvement agenda through close monitoring of prices/NRV and drive COGS improvement initiatives in collaboration with business, strategic marketing team and costing/SCM team
  • Drive spends effectiveness and ROI monitoring of SG&A (Selling, General & Administrative).
  • Assist with long-term strategic planning and financial modelling
  • Drive book closure and reconciliation of management and books of accounts in coordination with business finance, commercial and corporate FP&A
  • Leading the simplification and automation initiatives including opportunities in the areas of automation with help from IT and Global BS
  • Industry / Competition benchmarking
  • Work closely with corporate credit rating team on assessment of credit ratings for India business.

Investor Relations:

  • Lead preparation and review of investor presentations,regulatory filings and agreements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with investors and serve as the primary contact for inquiries and analyst meetings.
  • Drive preparation of key financial metrics and performance summaries for investor meetings, monitor analyst reports, market trends.

Job requirements

Experience in manufacturing industry preferable in Agri industry, SAP FICO, Qliksense/ Qlikview, Commercial acumen

Ability to leverage

interpersonal skills to establish rapport and develop relationships with all key stakeholders

 

Financial analytical expertise and strategic thinking to drive business performance

 

 

Strong communicator, highly energetic to set the example for the team

 

Leadership skills to manage team

CA with post qualification experience of 6-8 years

 

Willing to travel 5%-10%
