JD for Research Associate – Pheromone Formulation

Purpose of the Role:

To conduct research and perform experiment under guidance of Lead Scientist to develop the cost-effective and improved formulation likely to aid the business growth of UPL.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Basic Knowledge of Chemistry, Pesticides/Agrochemicals & Pest management/Entomology , Formulation & Pheromones.
2. Basic Knowledge of safety/precaution while working in Lab.
3. Basic knowledge in pest management OR pest control
4. Basic knowledge of common equipment like Balance, pH Meter, Moisture Analyzer other Analytical Instruments, formulation processing equipment’s
5. Basic Knowledge of preparing Solution and calculating Molarity/Normality/Purity.
6. Understanding of Objective, identification of key steps for Observation and safely/effectively preserve the same in record for future reference.
7. Literature search and evaluation of various formulation process and types and selection of equipment’s
8. Conducting day to day experiments as per Project Execution Plan.
9. Timely reporting of results to the superiors
10. Documentation: Documentation of experimental results in std formats

Qualification:

1. MSc in Pesticides / Agrochemicals & Pest Management/Chemistry/Entomology with Formulation Development Background
2. 0-3 years of Experience of working in lab and handling various formulation equipment
3. Good understanding of formulation chemistry
