Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Specialist in Business Development to drive growth and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building relationships with clients and stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
    • Analyze customer needs and preferences to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Business Development Strategy:
    • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align business objectives.
  • Proposal Development:
    • Prepare and present proposals, presentations, and reports to clients and stakeholders.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business opportunities.
  • Performance Tracking:
    • Monitor and report on business development performance metrics, including sales forecasts, pipeline status, and market penetration.
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance business development efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemistry, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the specialty chemicals or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs in the specialty chemicals sector.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
