Designation: Specialist – Investor Relations

Location: Mumbai, Khar

Reporting to: Head - Investor Relations

Experience: 8-10 years

Purpose:

To ensure the development and continuance of two-way communication between the company and its stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyse business unit financial and operational data for investor presentations.
  • Develop presentation slideshows for investor conferences and meetings.
  • Participate and assist in investor presentations and meetings.
  • Analyse individual business unit performance and conduct peer company comparisons.
  • Maintain current market intelligence.
  • Track and analyse macro market data and assess operating activity ramifications.
  • Contribute to the development of quarterly earnings press releases and quarterly conference call notes.
  • Prepare materials for quarterly Board of Directors meetings.
  • Perform the evaluation, analysis, and deal process on large and strategic acquisitions.
  • Prepare presentations, assist in the writing of press releases, and other communication materials for earnings releases, industry events, and presentations to analysts, brokers, and investors.
  • Serve as an additional point of contact for investor relations community. Help in the management of Investor Relations part of the company website
  • Assist business unit management with the evaluation, analysis, and process on smaller, bolt-on acquisitions.
  • Perform the analysis and deal process on divestitures and other strategic asset monetization.
  • Recognize growth opportunities and potential new markets.

 

Secondary Responsibilities

 

  • Provide analytical support for the strategic assessment of current and potential new business lines.
  • Provide analytical support for the forecasting of business unit results.
  • Assist business units when needed on large, complex, and sophisticated projects.
  • Collaborate with other senior researchers to refine and improve research processes.

 

Qualification, Knowledge and experience:

  • MBA or CA
  • Requires communication, finance, marketing, and security laws knowledge to manage investor relations.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze financial statements, valuations, and investment opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial modeling software.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to fundraising and investor relations.
