Major responsibilities:
This role will be responsible for Business Finance & Commercial activities of select verticals within Specialty Chemicals Business of UPL. This role will also be responsible for M&A and other special projects (across renewable energy, biofuels & other emerging areas) across the group.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Business Finance & Commercial: Budgeting, MIS, financial reporting, product costing & pricing, finalising commercial agreements, evaluating new business opportunities and general liaison with internal & external stakeholders for CRAMS, Biofuels and New Business Verticals
- Mergers & Acquisitions & Other Special Projects / Capex: Responsible for financial due diligence, project research, preparation of financial models, agreement review & negotiations, structuring of transactions, IRR & pay-back evaluation. Such special projects would cover renewable energy, carbon credit programme, biofuels business, specialty chemicals etc.)
- Trade Remedies: Responsible for data aggregation, liaison with internal stakeholders, consultants, data verification by authorities, etc. with respect to various trade remedy measures (Ex. anti-dumping duty, safeguard duty, etc.)
- Improvement in business processes: Develop solutions to improve current business processes; establish and maintain effective internal controls.

Expected Qualification and Experience:
- CA with 6-8+ years’ experience.
- Experience in product costing and MIS
- Experience in preparing financial models and / or valuations
- Experience of working SAP (Knowledge on CO & FI module is must along with general understanding on MM & SD module)
- Good understanding of IFRS standard, general understanding on direct & indirect tax laws.
