Specialist - Patent Prosecution

JOB SUMMARY:
The role is part of the Global IP function, responsible for Patent drafting, filing, prosecution, maintenance of the patent
portfolio.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Patent drafting, filing, prosecution, and maintenance of patents.
• Analyze and Draft office action response
• Coordinate and collaborate with Indian as well as foreign patent attorneys.
• Law firm Management
• Ensure compliance with global IP laws.
• Patent Opposition
• Attend Patent office hearings
• requires a strong understanding of Patent laws of different Jurisdiction, excellent drafting skills, and the ability
to work collaboratively with R&D and different stakeholders.
• Manage and maintain the UPL’s patent portfolio, including record-keeping and administrative tasks related to
patent applications and prosecution
• Stay updated on national and international changes in patent laws and practices
• 8 to 10 years of experience
• Strong Verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
•
Minimum 7-9 years of relevant experience.
•
M.Sc. . (Agriculture, Pharma, Biotech).
•
Registered Patent agent.
•
Project management, MIS reporting.
•
Instrumental in establishing processes and governances.
