Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to overlook Cyber Security Portfolio for the UPL Group. This role demands strategic vision, technical prowess, and exceptional leadership skills to drive security practices in the organization.

The ideal candidate will oversee and manage four critical verticals. Any 3 portfolio knowledge will be suitable.

  1. IS Governance: Lead governance, risk, and compliance efforts ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.

  2. Cyber Defense: Direct initiatives related to Security Operations Center (SOC) activities and cyber defense strategies.

  3. Security Engineering: Manage the implementation and maintenance of diverse security tools and technologies.

  4. OT Security: Develop and maintain security measures specifically tailored to manufacturing plant-based environments.

- Collaborate closely with business to understand their security needs and align strategies accordingly.

- Strong business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing setup.

- Demonstrated experience in managing security concerns across diverse global regions, understanding regional nuances, and adapting security strategies accordingly.

- Experience in navigating and addressing security challenges in various geopolitical landscapes, considering local regulations and cultural factors.

- Negotiate with vendors to acquire necessary security tools while optimizing costs.

- Develop and implement comprehensive security tools, policies and procedures.

- Lead incident response and mitigation strategies in the event of security breaches or threats.

- Establish and maintain effective communication channels for security-related information across departments.

- Evaluate emerging security technologies and trends for potential integration and enhancement of security posture.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to the security team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

- Extensive experience 15-18 years in information security management, with a strong background in the four specified verticals.

- In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to information security.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and levels within the organization.

- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 22301 or similar certifications are preferred.
