  • Contribute to the development and implementation of agreed regulatory strategy for global actives, working closely with global and regional stakeholders (marketing, business, R&D, IP, excellence centers)
  • Co-ordination of regional projects to avoid duplication and optimize resource utilization
  • Ensure availability of minimum safety, efficacy & claim substantiation package, in line with desired marketing claim
  • Provide Timely support to technical/formulation site additions, registrations transfers, entity name changes in region as needed
  • Provide support to global regulatory databases
  • Provide regulatory support to company compliance activities.



  • Monitor regulatory projects on global actives
  • Responsible for regulatory strategy for key UPL actives in Global Marketing(asset) teams
  • Develop potential regulatory options in the early phase of projects - 0, 1, 2
  • Build policy and guidance documents on key regulatory policies for UPL
  • Create non hierarchal teams with regional regulatory to drive strategy for key actives
  • Work closely with Global PGA to advocate for UPL positions on evolving regulatory frameworks
  • Ensure timely regulatory support to achieve Key Registrations and regulatory milestones.
  • Ensure timely updates of regulatory documents/database in global regulatory software
  • Provide regulatory expertise to external centers of Excellence, global dossier/document team in India and regional regulator experts



  • 15-20 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs
  • Higher degree, MSc or Ph.D. in a regulatory science or agronomy
  • Leadership, Business and Technical skills are key for this position.
  • In-depth understanding of the Regulatory framework to facilitate roll out of portfolio
  • Knowledge of areas such as toxicology, ecotoxicology, risk assessment will be required.
  • Should have strong appreciation of business and commercial drivers, and ability to align regulatory strategy with commercial needs in order to maximize business value
  • Ability to achieve objectives through teamwork in a non-hierarchal matrix. Inter-cultural sensitivity.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think logically and systematically
  • Self-starter. Must possess initiative and motivation to work with a minimum of guidance


Location: Position Open to entire Europe (Preferable Markets in Europe - Spain/ Italy/ France/ Netherlands/ UK)
