Job Title: Analyst / Executive – IT Procurement
Experience: 3–5 Years
Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering (Preferably with Material / Supply Chain qualification)

Location: Pune
Role Purpose
To manage end-to-end procurement of IT hardware, software, and services, ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, and timely delivery while aligning with business and technology requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure IT hardware (laptops, desktops, servers, networking), software licenses, SaaS solutions, and IT services at optimal cost, quality, and timelines.
- Perform cost analysis, benchmarking, and market assessment to ensure competitive sourcing.
- Drive vendor development and management for IT categories including OEMs, system integrators, cloud/service providers, and resellers.
- Identify alternate suppliers to mitigate risk and ensure business continuity.
- Maintain strong understanding of IT supply market trends, licensing models, and emerging technologies.
- Execute end-to-end PR to PO cycle in coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Conduct techno-commercial evaluation of proposals and finalize negotiations (pricing, delivery, payment terms, licensing terms).
- Partner closely with IT, Digital, PMO, Finance, InfoSec, and Legal teams to ensure alignment on requirements and compliance.
- Support contracting activities including MSA, SOW, SLA, and ensure adherence to procurement policies.
- Track and expedite deliveries for IT assets/services to meet project timelines.
- Manage vendor performance evaluation, SLA adherence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with IT procurement governance, licensing compliance, and audit requirements.
- Maintain documentation for internal and external audits, including contracts, POs, and vendor records.
- Build and maintain a database of IT products, vendors, pricing benchmarks, and technologies.
Technical Skills & Requirements
- Strong experience in IT Procurement (Hardware, Software, IT Services, Cloud)
- Knowledge of software licensing models (Microsoft, Oracle, SaaS, etc.) preferred
- Hands-on experience in SAP (mandatory); exposure to Ivalua / Ariba preferred
- Experience in handling CAPEX (IT infra) and IT MRO procurement
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
