Supply Chain Manager
Location: Sofia, Bulgaria (hybrid)
Person on this position is going to be responsible for operational management and development of the supply chain planning and logistics for UPL in Bulgaria. Reports to the Head of Supply Chain CEE. Works closely with local sales department, marketing & finance as well Regional and Europe Supply Chain Teams (supply/demand/production), local warehouses.
Job Description:
- Contribute to the local S&OP process in Bulgaria with right inputs to the process
- Ensure availability of products based on planning & forecasting (challenging sales forecast, preparation of purchase plan/APO DP)
- Ensure healthy inventory for all products to optimize product availability at lowest inventory cost (manages budget for local warehouse)
- Responsible for placing purchase requirements to production and supply teams in Europe, India, and 3rd parties
- Acts as support and backup to colleagues in the customer service and logistics team
- Taking ownership for and ensuring the continuous improvement of:
- The Forecasting and planning accuracy
- Inventory levels by reducing SLOBS and extensive Inventory
- Supporting new company initiatives: SAP implementation/changes
- Supporting integration of the company: portfolio and processes
Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 4-5 years of professional experience in supply chain/logistics
- Good knowledge of SAP ERP system
- Advanced level of MS Office - Excel
- Experience in planning strategy, supply management, stock management
- Fluent Bulgarian
- Very good command of English
- High communication skills
- Ability to influence others, also when not having formal authority/direct reporting line
