Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing the daily warehouse operations: Receive incoming goods and perform quality audits
- Manage preparation of final goods for delivery to customers including Final assembly of products. Final outgoing test. Packing/ kitting of product bundles. Packaging and shipment of goods to assure damage free delivery
- Develop operating procedures for incoming and outgoing product inspection and quality improvement
- Identify product failures and/or quality issues and bring them to the attention of the development team. Work to resolve and improve processes which screen such issues
- Collaborate with engineers to coordinate processes, equipment, and material changes to existing products
- Work with Sales to validate and schedule customer order fulfillment
- Develop and maintain records for tracking customer shipments and returns, including entry to ERP system
- Work with development organizations to facilitate efficient new product introductions
- Maintain inventory and perform cycle counts as required
Qualifications:
- BS degree in a relevant STEM degree, or 3 years of experience with some technical training and/or certificates
- Professional communication skills
- Valid Drivers License
- Experienced in electrical, PLC use, and control panel designs
- Experience installing and troubleshooting mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Able to read and work from CAD drawings and electrical diagrams
- Strong written and verbal skills
Key Compentencies:
- Maintenance: Ability to install and maintain all equipment located at customer work sites. This may include electrical and mechanical systems as well as PLC/Control Panels. Fabrication of equipment using various skills such as: designing, cutting and welding techniques; MIG, TIG and stick welding. Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment
- Problem Solving: Ability to read blueprints schematics and diagrams to properly diagnose equipment malfunctions. Troubleshoot, test, disassemble, repair, and reassemble company equipment including PLC/Control Panels, sprayers, pumps, motor, foggers and other equipment.
- Team Support: Provide support to service technicians by finding solutions to various equipment malfunctions. This includes being onsite at our customer accounts on a frequent basis, working alongside our service and commercial teams, and being able to communicate the current functionality and working condition of our equipment and processes to all involved.
- Training/Development: Attend regular training and promote proper use and care of Decco technical equipment. Train service technicians on new equipment and best practices. Maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Working conditions: Perform job functions at Decco warehouses, offices, laboratories, customer packinghouses, storage facilities, and other locations assigned. Work in ambient outdoor temperatures throughout the year and in cold storage facilities. Regular use of stairs, ladders, and platforms. Frequently travel in company provided vehicle, between 1 and 6 hours a day. May require standing for long periods.
- Innovation and Improvement: Work with Industrial Technology Manager to drive advancements in innovation and continuous improvements of our application equipment, digital platforms, and new technologies

PREFERRED SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
- Experience working with agriculture or industrial chemicals
- Experience working with sensors, transmitters, pumps, motors, and automation controls
- PLC programming
- Clean driving record
- Computer skills: Word processor, spreadsheets, and other software
